Description

Emantes' Social Service carries out intakes and in-depth assessment case by case for LGBTQIA+ refugees and asylum seekers and is responsible for signposting the individual according to their needs to Emantes' legal and psychological services, as well as Emantes' Community groups and Food provision.

Emantes' social services also refer to external service providers (accommodation, health and medicine provision, food provision, legal representation).

They also carry out communications/mediations with external services, accompaniments where necessary to appointments with health providers and asylum application processes and various administrative processes (e.g. tax details and application to the asylum service).

Admission criteria include being a trans or gender non-conforming person and being adult.

Languages spoken: Greek, English, French, Farsi/Dari, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Spanish
