Day-in Center for Homeless - Athens

PRAKSIS Open Day Center for the Homeless is a place where people in need have direct access - free of charge - to primary medical care, basic hygiene services, psychological support and referrals.

More specifically it provides on a daily basis (24/7):

• Safe place to rest (heated/air-conditioned)
• Showers
• Hygiene kits
• Laundry service
• Clothing and shoes
• Coffee, tea, snacks
• Safekeeping of personal belongings
• Primary medical care and medicine
• Individual or group meetings with specialised staff to identify the needs and the solutions to manage them
• Interconnection with other Agencies (psychological support, food, accommodation, health issues, social and job (re)integration – when needed).
