Khora Beehive

Creative and safe space for women and LQBTQIA+ community. Arts and crafts, workshops and games.

The Beehive is a welcoming and supportive maker space with a focus on art as therapeutic practice. It provides equipment, materials and studio space to enable a return to, or discovery of, creative arts and skilled crafts via the provision of classes, workshops and skill-shares.

We hope, through The Beehive, to provide a space dedicated to individual expression, community building, resilience, and psychosocial support.  In particular, the Beehive looks to centre women and LGBTQIA+ migrants and asylum seekers.

With a focus on sustainability, creative reuse and healing we have created a new space with workstations for jewellery making, textile arts, drawing and painting.
