ALPHA Community Center

Samos Volunteers offers a safe community space that prioritises psychosocial support and informal education for displaced communities living in Samos. 

At Alpha Centre in Vathy town, we offer informal education classes and workshops, quiet study space, a women-only space and an information hub.

At Alpha Land, a community space located a five minute walk from Zervou camp, we offer language classes and workshops, a women-only space, games room and chill-out area.

From our Alpha Centre & Alpha Land, we provide:

• Language Classes: English, Greek, German and French 
• Employment and Integration Support: CV/Cover Letter writing workshops
• Computer Classes 
• Tailoring Service for Clothes 
• Women and Girls Safe Space 
• Samos LGBTQI+ Group 
• Information Hub: free photocopying services, phone charging and referrals to legal assistance
• Clothing distribution
• Study Space 
• Games Room
• Refreshments
