Caritas Social Spot

The Social Spot of Caritas Hellas in Neos Kosmos offers empowerment and psychosocial support services and activities to vulnerable groups.

SERVICES

Services are provided at the Social Spot or online, on an appointment-basis.

• Social support (info and referrals for housing, medical appointments, administrative procedures etc.)
• Psychological support (personal and group sessions for resilience, empowerment etc.)
• Job counselling (CV, job ads, connection to job market etc.)
• Financial consulting and tax-related issues (unemployment cards, PAAYPA, AMKA, ATH.ENA card/transportation card, tax declarations etc.)
• Greek language classes for adults

GROUP ACTIVITIES

The activities are carried out in person, upon registration.

• Computer classes
• Physical exercise and empowerment activities for women (pilates, aerobic, dance, etc)
• Educational activities for children 5-12 years old (recreational and educational activities, remedial teaching, team games, art and crafts, etc.)

The services are available in Greek, English, French, Ukrainian, Farsi and Arabic.
