Academy - Free vocational training programs

Odyssea is a non-profit organization that supports young vulnerable people to have access to employment opportunities in society. We provide tailored vocational and life-skills training combined with employability services that bridge young people with the world of work and empower them to realize their full potential..

The Academy: Our Academy’s goal is to help people develop new skills and find work. The Academy process includes vocational training courses in a variety of subjects, as well as soft and digital skills education. The courses are intensive and hands-on, taking place at our new, state-of-the-art training center equipped with the latest technology and training tools.

The courses include:

• Soft skills and empowerment courses: Soft skills development to enhance beneficiaries’ career opportunities.
• Tailor-made courses: Tailor-made courses, designed around the needs of companies to fill job vacancies or to upskill their employees.
• Introductory courses: Familiarization with different professional sectors with the aim of career orientation.

Training sectors:

• HORECA (derived from the combination of the words HOtel REstaurant CAtering) is the category of training that prepares beneficiaries for the Hospitality and Food service sector.
• MEP (derived from the words Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) is the category of training that will prepare beneficiaries for the sector of construction, the backbone of every economy.
• Business vocation training programs that help participants develop their marketing and sales skill set.
• Tech (short for Technology) is the category of training that delves into all the aspects of technology,
  computers and networks that our hyper-connected world relies on.

All programs are offered to participants free of charge.

All training courses are delivered in Greek and/or English.
