IRC - UNHCR Youth Empowerment and Self Reliance Program for 17-23

The project will empower youth from 17 to 23 years old with a refugee or asylum seekers' status, living in the broader area of Athens, to cultivate the necessary competencies for a successful transition to adulthood, setting the basis for their social empowerment and economic self-reliance.

IRC Hellas proposes a holistic approach to the provision of a well-rounded package of services that includes:

• psychosocial support (and referrals to medical, legal, administrative, educational services etc.)
• job counseling (and link to job and vocational training opportunities)
• guidance in housing search
