All Children in Education (ACE) Program - Support Activities in Peloponnese

The "All Children in Education (ACE)” Program is implemented in the regions of Attica, West Attica, and Peloponnese with support from UNICEF and co-funded by European Union. 

Main aims of the program are:

• to ensure that all school-age refugee and migrant children (4-17 years old) find a pathway to formal education
• to support and facilitate their smooth access to school and their continuous attendance and 
• to prevent cases of school dropout

In order to ensure that children are best prepared for and supported in school, the program offers Greek, English and Science lessons, homework support as well as psychosocial support activities and services for students, and their families. 

More specifically, the project includes:

• Greek language lessons for children aged 4-17
• English language lessons for children aged 4-17
• Science lessons for children aged 4-17
• Homework support
• Basic life skills workshops for students
• Psychosocial support activities and services for students (support regarding students' enrollment in the compulsory formal education, their regular attendance and their integration in formal education, psycho-social and socio-emotional activities, etc.) 
• Promotion of adult/parents' integration in society through sensitization and social integration activities
• Promotion of digital learning and the blended learning approach 
• Teachers' capacity building training, seminars, and workshops
• Provision of school supplies
