Description

Positive Voice is the Association of People Living with HIV in Greece. The Association was founded in 2009 with a mission to defend the rights of people living with HIV, contain the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and mitigate the social and economic consequences of the epidemic in Greece.

To that end, among its outreach and prevention services, programs and interventions, Positive Voice provides empowerment and psychosocial support, targeted specifically to people living with HIV. Our trained professionals, in Athens and Thessaloniki, create a safe space, where beneficiaries can interact and discuss with us about any issue related to HIV and how living with HIV may affect their day-to-day life personal relationships and other areas of social integration. They can also get information about their rights and how to safeguard them.

Since 2009, we have provided empowerment to over 8,000 people living with HIV and their family members, partners and friends.
