Women Counselling Centre Chios Municipality

The Women Counselling Centre of Chios Municipality provides FREE services to women who are victims of violence (physical, verbal, financial, trafficking, rape, etc.), to unemployed women, single parents, the disabled, refugees or immigrants.

Services:

• Psychological Support: strengthening self-image, self-esteem and empowerment of women in general.

• Social Support: information on benefits, publication of a questionnaire, promotion to social services for food or clothing, escorts, etc.

• Job Counseling: developing job search skills, creating a resume, preparing for an interview, conducting job counseling workshops, etc.

• Legal Advice: information on rights regarding issues of a legal nature.

• Referral to hostels (provided that the conditions are met, and the prescribed procedure is followed).

All services are covered by the CONFIDENTIALITY of the counseling and can be done by phone or skype, if physical presence is not possible.
