Description

The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an international Catholic organisation with a mission to accompany, serve and advocate on behalf of refugees and other forcibly displaced person

Magistories is an informal educational program for kids (since 6 years old) and adults, both men and women, whether they are refugees, asylum seekers or migrants. To make Magistories a reality, JRS Greece partners with Libraries Without Borders (Bibliothéques Sans Frontières) and their program Ideas Box. Magistories is a space where everyone can learn and be more involved in the Greek culture and the European way of life. In this space, everyone is encouraged to discover the value of every culture by sharing their own culture and building bridges between different nations. Magistories is a space where everyone is looked upon in a holistic approach helping him or her consider and plan a path to a better life, whether long-term in Greece or in preparation for a future journey onward and elsewhere.
