Piraeus Regional Asylum Office

The Regional Asylum Office of Piraeus became operational on August 2016. It is responsible for the registration and examination of applications for International Protection by pre-registered third-country who are not eligible to participate in the Relocation Programme of the European Union. 

The Asylum Regional Office of Piraeus is responsible for examining applications of the Regional Asylum Office of Attica that refer to citizens of Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
