Thessaloniki Regional Asylum Office

The Regional Asylum Office of Thessaloniki started operating as an Asylum Unit on January, 20th 2014 and as Regional Asylum Office on July 8th 2015. It is responsible for Central and West Macedonia (in Greece) as well as Corfu in the Ionian Island's Region, acc. to article 26, par. 10 of the Presidential Decree 122/2017 as applied.

It manages all international applications except those that are refer to the Independent Asylum Unit for International Applications for Protection of Albanian and Georgian Nationals.
