Organization Earth is currently offering free Urban farming workshops for refugees and migrants.
Indicative workshop themes: Cultivation of aromatic herbs and organic vegetables, creation of wooden planters, composting, etc.
Duration: 2 hours per workshop
Workshop locations: Roof garden of Educational Association of Athens, Ano Patisia & “Centre of the Earth”, Ilion
Workshops aim to connect participants to Nature and to foster their social inclusion through participation in community activities and skills development.
Workshops are implemented in the framework of the program titled “Urban Farming Workshops for Refugees and Migrants”, which is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
