The program can give people who have suffered torture a certificate that certifies that they have been victims of torture.
The certificate could be used to support claims for asylum.
For the certification, victims of torture meet with a social worker, doctor, psychologist and lawyer.
This will take place over four appointments. The entire process should last approximately one month.
The program can make referrals to other organizations for legal, medical or other support.
