OCC's Kindergarten is the educational and recreative space of OCC where children can play, learn and interact with others in a safe and appropriate space. The space is running in the morning hours of Tuesday to Friday, at the same time as adult's classes to make it easier for adult students with kids, to leave their kids in a trusted space and focus better in their learning activities. The activities take place in Polikastro, Kilkis, Greece.
The target population are refugee children from age 0 to 5 and parents of all ages who are living in the Nea Kavala Refugee camp, with a priority to our registred students. The children activities have been designed with safety protocols and a special focus in the cognitive and emotional needs of toddlers with a refugee background.
